Bosrijk ‘t Eethuys

We had the privilege of reimagining the enchanting atmosphere of Restaurant ’t Eethuys, located in the heart of Efteling’s cozy bungalow park, Bosrijk.

Our design approach focused on accentuating the core value of the space: a welcoming inn that greets guests throughout the day in a serene forest setting.

To enhance the cozy ambiance, we introduced classic paneling, English wooden chairs, handcrafted lamps, and a warm color palette featuring authentic materials. The paneling not only adds character to the space but also serves a dual purpose, providing a place to hang coats while showcasing custom-made plates that tell the unique story of Klaas Vaak, the beloved figure and host of Bosrijk.

The layout was thoughtfully designed to be both structured and flexible, featuring long benches that create opportunities for both communal gatherings and intimate dining experiences.
