About us

As friends and peers, we combine all of our experience, strengths, and passion for interior design to create and realize projects that are functionally smart and have a beautiful aesthetic. Our style is respectful to each client’s identity and is therefore always unique.

We bring more than 20 years of experience as designers, in which we have had the chance to work on high profile, beautiful and diverse projects, and we have gained experience in interior architecture in the broadest sense of the word. Our projects span from hotels, bars, restaurants, private residences, and museums to shopping malls, food courts, offices, shops, parking garages, elderly homes, and much more.

We are passionate about design and love to work on spaces of any kind.

‘Creating spaces that are comfortable, functional and inspiring.’

Tinka Heinzel

Tinka is born and raised in Germany. She studied at the School of Architecture in Detmold and reached her Diploma Engineer degree in 2007. For an internship, she moved to The Netherlands and settled down in Amsterdam. Tinka started her career at Hofman Dujardin Architects, where she learned about product design and private housing.—from Villas in the woods to penthouses in lively Amsterdam. After three and a half years she continued her journey to Claessens Erdmann Architects where she started her first steps in retail design and graphic identities. Six years later, to gain even more and diverse experience, she started to work for Studio Linse as a Senior Designer. She discovered her passion for hospitality and combined it with all her commercial knowledge which is shown for example in de Restauratie, Eindhoven, Nemo Science Centre, Cafe Americain and Scheepvaartmuseum. Working with enthusiasm and passion for design without losing sight of functionality, she is turning every new challenge into a smashing concept.

In 2010 she started as a designer at Studio Linse, and during her 10 years with the internationally recognized firm, she became the face of the Studio. Together with Paul Linse she worked on impressive, historical and beautiful projects like the Royal Opera House, London, Rijksmuseum Café, Restaurant Rijks, de Plantage, Hotel The Dylan and Pillows Hotels.
