Townhouse Amsterdam
This townhouse from 1910 was filled with original wooden paneling and beautiful stained-glass windows. It was important for the owner and his family to make it a bright, modern, elegant and multi-functional house. The two staircases in the house, together with a well-thought floor plan, make it possible for floors & rooms to be secluded for rentals or guests without interfering with the primary residents. While working with a limited budget, the result is a sophisticated home characterized by lightness and simplicity, a soft color palette & authentic materials. This house balances between the old and the new, retaining and emphasizing its history.
